Tundo Joor is an awareness-raising project on child rights led by Plan and Nokia.
The objective of this partnership is to allow very poor children to free themselves from poverty by using ICT. In this way, young singers and musicians with well-known artistes pool their talent and voices together in concert to promote child rights.
The 27 young Senegalese artistes who have taken part in creating the album Tundu Joor were chosen following a regional call to children who were interested in the project. The artistes, children and professionals followed training workshops focusing on music and being involved.
This project is funded by Nokia
