It tells the story of a little orphan girl mistreated by her stepmother and falling down under the weight of domestic chores. One day, the stepmother sends her to a launder a black loincloth, and asking her to bring it back white. "Ko woni e mayo" is the little girl’s lament, addressed to the genie of river to have it come to help her.
Fanta Mbacke Kouyate, big Mandingo artist, mixes her voice to those of the children for the biggest happiness of music lovers.
